Information for poster presenters
All poster must be designed according to the following:
- Maximum size A0 (841 x 1189 mm)
- Orientation Portrait
Any posters not conforming with this layout may be rejected due to space limitations. The type size most suitable for poster text is 20 to 24 point which is legible from one meter. Photographs should be a minimum of 200 x 250 mm. It is requested that no advertising material of any type be attached to the poster display or handout material. Posters not conforming to this request may be taken down.
The display panel will be plastic covered chipboard. Adhesive tape (scotch) will be provided by the technical staff of the Local organising committee to affix the poster presentation to the display board. Posters can be made of lightweight cardboard, poster board or heavy duty paper. Heavy cardboard material is not advisable because of the difficulty of attachment and retention on the display board.
A special sign, which will be supplied by the LOC, will be mounted on the top left hand corner of the display. The sign or abstract index includes the session number and abstract number in accordance with the printed Book of the abstracts. This sign will help to put the poster in the right place. Poster presentations not included to the Book of the abstracts due to the late submission will be listed and numbered in the special Addendum to the Conference Handbook.
Posters should be set up on 9th, 10th or 11th July, respectively, in the morning (before 9 AM), during the first coffee-break (11:00 - 11:30) or lunch time (13:30 - 14:30) at latest. Posters should be removed right after the poster session or at the end of the day (6 PM). Posters not removed will be discarded.
